If you have received a fine that wasn't due to an error or typo, but you believe was caused by extenuating circumstances, you have the ability to fill out a form to contest the fine.  Appeals must be submitted within 20 days of when the fine was issued.

If this is the option you would like to pursue, take the following steps.

1. Reply to the notice and request the form to contest a fine.
2. Fill out the form including as much detail as possible, and make sure your Broker signs and completes their portion.
3. Use the latest email response from the notice to attach and submit the completed form.

Once the form has been received, it will be submitted for review to the Board of Directors at their next scheduled meeting.  The results of the Directors' decision will be provided to you via email by MLS staff.
